Subject: Help : problems with Microsoft winsock implementation
A question for anyone using Microsoft's TCP/IP-32 (Beta 3.11)
implementation of the WinSock API:
When writing data to a socket, I am experiencing problems when
the remote terminal is unable to accept the data (i.e. busy).
The sending side returns a WSAEWOULDBLOCK error condition as you
would expect, but no FD_WRITE message is being generated afterwards
(when the buffers should have cleared).
FD_WRITE messages are enabled via WSAAsyncSelect(), and are posted
when the socket first connects. Subsequent sends work fine until the
remote end blocks as described above. Has anyone else encountered
this problem (or have I misinterpreted the WinSock spec)?
